Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen

Hound Group

The Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen (PBGV) has the appearance of a smiling and hairy Basset Hound, but that's where the similarities end. The PBGV knows only one emotion - pure JOY! They are natural hunters and have the endurance of a marathon runner. PBGV's are very active, but not hyper. They make great family pets and, in our opinion, are very underrated. Regular exercise is a must for this breed.
