Miniature Schnauzer

Terrier Group

Small and sturdy with a wiry outer coat; physically, Miniature Schnauzers really are quite different when compared to their Giant namesakes. They are also highly intelligent, unwaveringly loyal and charmingly playful. Mini Schnauzers are fantastic with children and even tolerate other pets, provided their behaviors are consistently managed within the home. They can be prone to Small Dog Syndrome; however, as with other Schnauzer variants, they respond extremely well to positive reinforcement.
