Goldendoodle

Sporting Group

The Golden Doodle, a cross between a Golden Retriever and a Poodle, was first bred in 1969. However, it wasn’t till the 1990's that the popularity of the breed really began to boom. Due to their handsome appearance, Golden Doodles are often referred to as a ‘designer breed’, though they are more than just a pretty face. They retain the hypoallergenic coat of the Poodle, making them perfect for those sensitive to dander. They are also well suited for families with children and make fantastic guide dogs.
