Alaskan Malamute
Working Group
Remember playing tug-of-war at recess and picking the biggest/strongest kid to be your team's anchor? Well that is exactly what Alaskan Malamute is to a dog sled team. This semi-gentle giant is an independent thinker and they like to let their strength do the talking. Malamutes loves to play hard and rest hard. It's very important to give them the exercise needed to stimulate good behavior. Their happy-go-lucky face will be on full display by wagging a leash in front of them. As with most dogs, it's very important to teach them mutual boundaries with your little ones.
