Akita
Working Group
One of the most loyal, devoted, and eager to please breed's in the world. The Akita truly is man's best friend. However, they are not other dog's best friends. Akita's do much better being the only dog, but will shower you with affection. This breed loves exercise for their mind, but surprisingly they aren't hyperactive and needy companions. They make excellent watch dog's and this is one situation where their bite is bigger than their bark. Akita's make great family dog's but must be taught boundaries with children as puppies. Akita's need responsible owners who are willing to put in the time to train them with a firm hand.
